The new wiggz.com is alive … alive!

Friday, October 31st, 2008

After months of planning—as well as three weeks of bending code (ever so gently), resizing images and mucking around on the site in general—I am proud to say that the new-and-improved wiggz.com is alive! Just in time for Halloween, no less—in true frankensteinian fashion!

That said, you may experience errors within pages here and there. If you encounter anything annoying, please let me know via email.

I’d like to thank my good friend Dave Prescott at B12, Inc. for providing stellar project-management for the redesign; Chester Schendel for developing the design concepts; and Adam P. Moore for coding his minimalist CSS so beautifully.

wiggz.com has been online, in multiple iterations, since 2000. For the first time, I feel like I’ve truly got my act together.

Hope you like the site … I’m going to pour myself a beer now.

A preview of the new wiggz.com

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Over the past two weeks, I’ve traded my paintbrush for my keyboard, to focus on building out the future version of wiggz.com. This redesign project has been in the works all summer long. Now that I’ve got the templates, it’s time to populate the pages, all 100+ of them!

If you’d like to preview my progress, please check out grantwiggins.com, which I’m treating as my development site.

My projected go-live for the new wiggz.com is the end of October. If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to fit in a painting between now and then. But if you don’t see anything new on these blog pages, you’ll know why. Regardless, when I’m all done, it will be so much easier to view my art on the web.

Thanks for checking things out,
