10 February – 24 March, 2011

Grant Wiggins is showing his work in 4square, a group exhibition presented by Squeeze Gallery, 4200 N. Marshall Way, Suites 2 and 3, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
4square examines diverse uses of geometry in contemporary art, bringing together contemporary minimalist, conceptual and pop surrealist approaches to the genre of geometric art.
Wiggins will be showing with Richard Garrison of Brooklyn, NY, Ryan Peter Miller, of Tempe, Ariz., and Bart Vargas of Minneapolis, Minn.
Wiggins is putting forth a "mini-collection" of 12 paintings, collectively titled Sinewaves and Shockwaves. An homage to the sine wave, these works explore the dynamism of lines that fluctuate wildly, but return to a starting point on the horizontal or vertical axis.
Garrison is contributing conceptual color studies of Target advertisements. Miller is displaying a set of carved-and-cast pieces composed of acrylic paint. Vargas is exhibiting three paintings with roughly hatched radial compositions.
