ArtWorks at Phoenix Art Museum:
ArtWorks Gallery installation
In the summer of 2004, I was fortunate to be commissioned to design and paint a 35-foot-long mural for the children's gallery at Phoenix Art Museum. I also designed accompanying graphics that guided children, parents, and teachers on how to interact with elements of the gallery.
For me, it was a phenomenal learning experience, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Education Curator Kathryn Blake was tremendously supportive and a joy to work with throughout planning and production. The gallery was on display for most of the 2004-2005 school year, immediately prior to the museum's recent major renovation.
