at monOrchid, in downtown Phoenix, Arizona — May 16 through July 18, 2003 Popped Out was a breakthrough show. Billing ourselves as The TRA25 Capsule, Oliver Hibert, Mark Freedman, and I put more than 30 paintings on display in the heart of downtown Phoenix's First Friday art walk district. This show led to our subsequent Fresh Paint installation at Phoenix Art Museum. Media coverage was generous, too. I have nothing but great memories of this show. |
